Our Story So Far

In June of 2022, the Nufan board members chose AFC Crewe as the club that they’d like to take over. The rest, as they say, is history.

After agreeing a deal with the previous club Chairman to make AFC Crewe 100% community owned, with every single board member owning an equal share in the club, the Nufan board members got straight to work.

AFC Crewe finished bottom of the 14th level of English football in 21/22 season, and a major squad overhaul was needed for the club to challenge for a title this season.

The board voted to allocate a significant budget to improving the playing squad, and Manager got straight to work, bringing in 23 new players.

Straight away, the board also voted to purchase state of the art filming and streaming equipment so that every single AFC Crewe game could be streamed online for board members to watch from around the world.

The Nufan board members began planning for every aspect of the new season, and we got off to a flying start.

Our AFC Crewe team got off to an unbeaten start in our league and cup campaigns, sitting top of the table. Board members from all over the world have travelled to watch their team play and meet other board members who are also part of this unique and historic journey.

Elsewhere, the board have lined up a potential move to a major ground, Congo international goalkeeper Christopher Mafoumbi has signed for the club, major sponsorship deals have been brought in by the board, and the club has been making huge waves online, going viral across social media.

The boardroom is still open, come and join us. We’re just getting started.
